Nepal India Women Friendship Society (NIWFS) is a not for profit making organization established on 8th March, 2013. We are registered under Kathmandu District Administration Office and Social Welfare Council and have operations in more than 12 districts of Nepal. We are a non-political, non-religious and a grass-root level organization working with the most marginalized population of Nepal. Our main mission is to uplift the livelihood of marginalized women from remotest part of Nepal and help them in being able to access the economic and other resources so that they can contribute in the development of overall society. Nepal India Women Friendship Society (NIWFS) has been working to improve the socio-economic standard of under privilege population of rural Nepal and improving the living condition through various skills generating, improving health facilities programs.

We believe that women’s accessibility to the economic resources is the most important aspect for uplifting the livelihood of marginalized people hence we have a vision that through skills enhancement of rural women and making them accessible to market, the empowerment of women is possible which will uplift an overall society.
